I lived in the countryside for a long time, and while we were building our house we lived in an old beat up trailer. So of course I spent most of my time outdoors or helping with the house to save money. Across the road was a cow farm, and I was always drawn to this one tree in the middle of the field. It stood there all by itself through all the seasons, which in Ontario can get intense! I decided to do a little watercolor to try and capture the sunset and this one lone sunset tree. We lived there 14 years and I would look for it each day when I woke up. We have since moved but my daughter still enjoys seeing this tree. ENJOY!
