I just added this new small painting you might like. It is of a caterpillar about to embark on his transformation to a Monarch Butterfly. He is stocking up on food and will soon create his cocoon.
I have created this painting using a dip pen with permanent black in and then a wash of watercolor on 140lb Canson watercolor paper. It is 7 x 10 inches and will be shipped mounted behind an 8 x 10 inch white acid free matt and backing board ready for an 8 x 10 inch frame. I have signed the front and titled the back. All my paintings include traceable shipping. ENJOY! Hope you are having a great day.

Ok I know, this looks like a massive painting, but it is not! This is one of my latest ACEO art cards that measures 2.5 x 3.5 inches. I taped off 1/4 inch approximately around the edge to make it easier to frame or just to look neater. They are a great way to collect tiny samples of art from different artists. This will be shipped in an acid free card protector and you could display them in an album. Check online with other artists too to find more.
Two pets staring out the window. Their whole lives are inside and they must wonder what is on the other side of this window! I saw them when I went for a walk, and it gave me the idea for this painting. They looked happy enough but obviously had a seat at the window to maybe watch for their owner to come home from work? I used permanent black ink and a dip pen to create this little lady bug enjoying the sun on a green leaf. I then used a watercolor wash to bring it to life. Check out my storefront and click on the categories to find more paintings. Thanks for visiting! |
