-I love to draw and paint, and lately I have been enjoying abstract art.
With life sometimes getting quite overwhelming, it takes me away a bit to draw and paint something that doesn't have to be seen to be drawn. Check out my new section.
I love to draw circles and can do so for hours. But in the painting pictured I added watercolor to the circles, and let them blend on their own, not totally knowing what the result would be. Dream in Color.
This type of painting inspires me to remember that when life seems overwhelming, take time out to dream and de-stress.

These ink and watercolor paintings are done on Canson 140 watercolor paper using permanent ink, a dip pen and then a wash of watercolor in just the right spots.
They are matted to 11 x 14 inches to fit a Standard Frame. So no need to buy specialized sizes.
Before I grew my paintings and started this Website, I used to... and still do, create handmade cards on Etsy.
I have made quite a few sales there, and thought it would be nice to share these cards on this website. I create everything from Pet Sympathy cards, birthday cards, thank you cards, all the way to 5 x 7 matted paintings that are attached to a blank card and can also be framed as an original piece of artwork. Check it out.. Click the picture below and you can peruse my Homemade Cards by Diane shop. Have a wonderful day!
The above collage is but a sample of many of the cards I make and sell. Just click the pictures or the link to go directly to my store.
If you just happen to like my art, but would like something a little smaller to share, then getting a card is a wonderful idea!
I also created a page on this website that will direct you to the Etsy Shop if a card is more your idea right now.
